I am sure this could be a lenghty debate, but what would be the general consensus to the direction. I have just put them on looking at the groove which is pointing toward the back of the car, this would allow water and any crap to leave the groove? |

Well the instructions on my disks said the the 6 grove shoud have the groves facing towards the front of the car (i.e looking at the N/S wheel spiral wold be going anti clockwise.

are their any advantages to either way? dependant to whether you are a passive or aggressive braker? |

As Wil says direction wise on the 6 groove - its to clear the dust/gasses from the pad face - apparently If Carling made Mini engines

i remember mentally debating this when fitting some from minisport to a mates cooper, then i realised that both discs sides were machined the same so disregarded it? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

these are multi groove, so the groove needs to be pointing to the front of the car, turning anti clockwise |

The only thing thats important on a vented disc, is the direction of the internal vanes.
