hi can some body tell me what cam i need for metro turbo (standard) as i phone shops and they don't seem to know much
a standard metro turbo cam...
the naturally aspirated cam ...
theres a kent cam (i seem to think its the 266) but the man in the shop said its not ?? :S
so i asked them what cam should i use and he said he doesn't know :S
so it's just getting confusing :@:@

Mmmmm, I feel a search reply cominng on. Seriously put 'cam' in the search and see what you find.

Also no point asking what cam without telling us what engine you have. 998, 1275, turbo, NA. Is it a road car, race car, track car, what power, etc, etc, etc..... SEARCH

also its a 1275 turbo engine its going in a road car but its not in anything at the moment power wise i havnt got a clue but iv heard they are 93 bhp standard which is what mine is thanks

then it has a std cam in it... leave the engine alone then? what do you want out of this? to keep it standard or what, if you have a standard metro turbo engine then it will have a metro turbo cam...

the cam that was in it isnt any good we don't think it has a few chips on the sides of the lobes but would it matter as its not near the highest point on the lobe?? also the cam that was in it we don't think was standard .. i just want it running properly to be honist as its gna be a big diff having the turbo engine in enyway because the onli car i've drove is a 998 mini which is what i got now ..
whats the stnd cam??

Any 1275 cam apart from the one fitted to the MG is the same cam as fitted to the turbo. Ten a penny.
