There has been a little discusion about what wheels went on Metro Turbo's and when. This is an uncomprehensive list based on my knowledge, reading on the internet and wheels that have passed through my hands (i.e. it could be wrong, but I'm as certain as I can be that I'm not.).

MK 1 Turbo - 13 x 5.5J flat style with small round centre cap. These are clearly identified by the imperial size and the flat recess in the nut hole. The nuts are very rare and the plastic caps to cover them are even rarer.

I think it would be possible to turn down a set of revolution style nuts to fit these wheels.

MK2 Turbo - Available in both 13 x 5.5J and R315 160 (Metric). These wheels are visually similar, but have a single plastic centre cap covering the nuts and a larger resessed centre. The wheel pictured is 13".

Late MK2 Turbo and Advantage - Cross/multi spoke wheels in 13 x 5.5J. Metro Advantage and some white turbos had them in white, otherwise they where silver.

Rover Metro GTi - I am only mentioning these as they are easy to mistake for the turbo crosswires (I know from experience). They are 13", but with a 100mm PCD, meaning they do not fit on MK 1 or 2 metros. They are identifiable by the larger centre cap with cutouts for the wheel nuts.

Hopefully this will clear things up, but feel free to comment and add anything I have missed or have incorrect.

The early MK2 turbo wheels were imperial wheels when fitted to the turbo. They were metrics when fitted to the nasp MG as all MK2 metros apart from the turbo had metric wheels for some daft reason.

The white cross spokes were only fitted to the advantage. The silver cross spokes were fitted to the turbo and GTa. That's not to say some people didn't specify the white alloys instead.

Other factory alloys fitted to the metro were the 12" pepper pots and the metric "cheese graters", both on the nasp MG.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

I maybe wrong...but I think they were comissioned by rover sport for challenge cars only. Still a sexy wheel.

Anyway you cheeky bastard...you've just repeated what I said on the 'For wanted' post! Give me some tires! lol

The design of the Ronals isn't unique, but the size and fitment may be. The same design was fitted to the Audi Quattro but in a bigger size.

They will fit but the offset will be wrong. better just selling them.
