Just wondering how you folk have gone about it?

I was going to use the original rubbers, slide the window up into it, wedge in place then fix it there somehow? anyone have any suggestions?

When i fitted the alloy skins, i did away with the reinforcement panel that sits flush/spot welded against the top of the original skin, so cant use that

Cheers

Joe

I pick holes in everything..

I did exactly that. 3 bolts at the bottom.

Why not use the rail on the inside to bolt the window in place? I used 3mm bolts, and 5mm nuts as spacers.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

While this tread's current, is the opening sufficient to stay cool on a hot summers day? I know that's highly subjective but I'm probably in need of new runners on the window bottoms anyway (~£50) vs getting a set of [polycarb?] windows as above.

Cheers, Dave.
