Post Whore

Glasgow, Scotland

im20 with 0NCB and 2 crashes.

myinsurance without the turbo on a stage 1 1275 is ?1300.

my policy has about 7 months to run, if i dropped in a metro turbo lump the insurance company want an extra ?600. BUT if i turbo my current lump its only an extra ?100. even though i said id get more power wiht the second engine than a std metty turbo puts out! .. go figure, but it may be worth asking how much to put a 1275 in and turboing it yourself! I believe it was jsut due to the insurance group of the metty turbo that hiked my premium.

TBO at your age, not that im much older, you gotta expect ?2000+ for a turbo mini. Insurance is absolutely silly until you get some no-claims.

Up until recently i was running around in a 1275 headed 998, and it was satisfyingly quick and very good on the insurance too. :)

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Had a quote on my car value agreed ?5000 for ?140 fully comp.

It is a 1968 car so is on classic insurance, that means you don't need or aquire a no claims bonus on the policy. I'm 28 though.

That was with Graham Sykes insurance.

That said I had an old C reg shed of a car prieviously when I was a few years younger most companys wanted stupid money, but I ended up paying around ?300 TPFT with Graham Sykes.
