Ive tacked up titanium, its the same process as steel but run more gas and keep the gas going for 20 - 30 sec after finishing.
I seriously doubt it! |

Total different ball game. I weld this nearly every day at work. It requires lots of torch gas (I use 14l per minute and a 12mm wide ceramic) and correct backing gas. You are aiming for silver welds or a very light straw. Any weld that is purple, blue or grey and flaking this is bad news. Some people use a tank that completly purges the job so silver welds are achieved. I'm hardcore though and do it freehand. |
