Hi fellas :)

I've spent past few days figuring out why my A series Metro has been overheating. Previous owner never cured fault despite apparantly changing thermostat. Anyhow replaced that as well as broken fan switch to no avail. All water pipes were getting hot apart from one going to and from the heater. Checked for blockages and found none.
Anyhow, disconnecting pipe from top thermostat housing proved that no water was pumping through at all so figured maybe water pump was ineffective. So removed water pump and was quite shocked to find that the rotor blades have virtually disappeared!! Fitted new water pump now and running great. Thought I'd show you guys a photo of the damaged pump though....

Suck, squeeze, bang, blow........

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
