just wanted to see what fuel pump some of you are running.?. the minis been running badly on boost recently and after spending a few minutes with the local specialist turns out the fuel pump/tank on there is a standard mini injection unit (dont ask me how i never realsied this)..so has obviously been maxing its self out just to keep up the fuel demands and is finally packing up..i think the fuel reg isnt doing its job too well either so will buying a new one of each.

i need an external pump thats upto the job without being too over kill.. so am open to recomendations ?

oh and the cars only running 8 psi on a standard carb

its also looking like 'monster' might be staying in my possession for a while as i cant bare to let the little sod go just yet :)

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

IS it an SPi tank or MPi tank? MPi tank should easily be up to the job

The injection tanks are fine for turbo use.

Check the fuel pressure. Probably just a fpr problem.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

im not sure if its the spi or mpi tank, it used to handle the fuelling fine so im thinking maybe your right...its prob just the fuel reg thats knackered..it hasnt been inspiring me with confidence since i got the car .. think ill go with replacing it first and worry about the fuel pump after

new Reg fitted..probem solved :) i manage to split a vaccum pipe which ineed to sort at the weekend but the car runs SSSOOOOO much better, even with the vaccum pipe abit dodgey and the psi only upto 2psi it was flying along quite happily with no juddering or sluggishness.
just leaves me to get the boost set and sort the last few bits at the weekend and happy days... still need to fixthat damn engine steady tho haha
