Was thinking today, would be nice to see my AFR's vs. rpm on a graph

is there any basic can do this cheaply?

over the next couple o weeks ill be putting megaljolt on (once i figure out which tps to use on the weber), would that make things easier?

Cheers

Joe

Depends what you call cheap.
Innovate LM-1 with aux box can log what you ask aswell as MAP.
Techedge are a bit cheaper and also give you aux inputs.

i have a 1380 with a a weber/aldon red and an aem wideband guage already, so can moniter the AFRs realtime while on the move, just wondering how to get the info onto a computer to have a butchers at?

dead easy with a megajolt.

my AEM is wired to the aux in on my jolt, we then wrote a table which plotted afr value against 0-5v which lets you view it against rpm and load in the datalogging part of the jolt tuning software.

I'm pretty sure I've plugged my AEM gauge into my laptop in the past but all you get is a string of afr reading with nothing to reference them against so it's not much use.

If you've not had a look at this site already it might help:

hold up. are you saying i can connect a wideband lambda directly to the megajolt and use that to give me a reading which i can then convert the voltage reading in to a AFR reading and record the lot real time or logged on my laptop? so all it would cost is the price for a wideband sensor??

sorry to highjack.

you would stil need a wideband controller, one with a 0-5 v output then that into mjlj, and logging using the mjlj tuning software on a laptop

aem wb's have a 0-5v output though dont they? to mimic the nb signal to the stock ecu if you cant be arsed welding another bung into the exhaust

that was my understanding anyhow?

you'll end up with something like this, from when i was starting tuning my needle a while ago.

you can't put any decimals into the mj table for the aux values and there are only a certain amount of bins so we had to fudge the afr values, 139 is really 13.9 and so on.

i've got the text file still saved for the afr values that you need to upload to the jolt so give us a shout if you want it emailing over.
