Now the head is off, whip the valves out, re-lap the seats (or get them re-cut - likely needed on turbo exhausts).
Change the inlet valve stem seals, and (if you're planning of fitting 1.5 rockers in the future) swap the valve springs for the minispares 'high lift' springs...

Also, clean those pistons with some celly thinners /petrol or something.

At least this way, you can make full use of checking an replacing things on the head whilst it's apart; there is no better opportunity!
