Ok, really simple question - but I wanted to make sure I'm correct before I bugger up my inlet manifold.

Am I correct in saying that all I need to do is drill and tap a take off, connect this to the boost gauge and Bobs yer Maw's brother?

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

On our metro van we have used the old vauum take off in the banjo bolt for the servo pipe, but you can just make out the flat spot to the left under the servo hose.

I'm using a custom made manifold - so I'll need to drill and tap a port.

Thanx for that - a picture paints a thousand words.

Does anyone know if I need a fitting kit (pipe, take off ect) with this gauge?

There doesn't seem to be one listed on Mini Spares website, but thought I'd check.

I bought one of those, but from a trader at a show as new unused. It came with just the gauge. We needed to find a fitting for the manifold and a length of vacuum hose to connect it.

Hmmm.

I take it that it would be feasable to use a brake caliper bleed nipple, just cut to suit?

The fitting in that pic cost about £2 delivered.
