I'm looking for a metro turbo or a mini turbo lump to put in my 1984 Mayfair. Lowish miles, gearbox and ancillaries if possible.
1/4 mile in....??

Welcome to TM. Have a look here before you go out and buy a clapped out old Metro unit.

i have a metro turbo short engine, built with new bearings, avonbar ph2 cam, lightened vernier timing gear, new turbo oil pump,

I don't know alot about what is needed to convert my mini and I'm relatively new to the sceen so could really do with everything to drop in and go or some good advise. 1/4 mile in....??

in regards to drop in and go, youll need a bulkhead box welding in if using the metro manifolds and turbo setup... :) On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:

Cheers rick I can fabricate the bulkhead which I'm sure is do able. I was thinking anything upto about £900 or so garry 1/4 mile in....??
