Stright Cuts and friction plate

Will be ordering a set of stright cut gears and drop gears next week. Just wondering what make of gears everyone else uses?

Also would like to know which friction plate and what colour clutch spring people are using?

Hi there and welcome

I hope this doesn't sound rude but the answers to almost any topic you can think of are covered in previous postings on the forum.
In fact there is a currently active thread all about clutch choices.
If you use the search function you will find a wealth of info.

For the record most people use a grey spring and a race/rally plate, or maybe a paddle plate for drag or race use.

As for gearkit choices, depends who you talk to, I think it is fair to say that everyone seems to have had different experiences with stuff.
Personally I have a Tran-X gearkit and drops but engine not built yet so cannot comment on how good or not they are.
