its probably one of the last main bits i need to buy now for my engine, im having trouble deciding weather its worth it or if there's really a need for a worked crank,
or rather whats the benefits either way i does need a grind+ harden minimum
current specs ( likely to change *tongue*)
*1293 cast omega
*na mg cam
*lightened duplex
*lightened verto and rts
*t2 for now on side mount fanimould
*recon head std ports/valves ( plan 7 port in the future)
*crank ?? steel centre main strap
*rods either std balanced A+ or lightened polished balanced A+ with arp;s

its going to be a road going drag/track toy, not a daily drive though and doubt it will ever get close to 8k

cheers

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Shropshire.

set the limiter to 7k - standard crank should be fine.

I think generally for turbo use they are just a nice to have.

If you aren't going to be exceeding 7k on a regular basis then a balanced standard item should be fine.

I would however be tempted to get the crank hardened. Bear in mind however once it's been hardened you may find it hard to get someone to modify it later.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
