i have a 1275 mg metro turbo engine in a 1995 mini mayfair head gasket went last weekend i have fixed that but after i had it running for a little while it starts to billow out thick smoke from the exhauast i think the turbo oil seal has gone does any body else have any ideas thanks James

i had similar problem, it was gasket which is between exhaust and head :)

hopefully it helps :)

welcome to turbominis, you can bet your bottom dollar that if the turbo is some 20 odd years old the seals will be goosed, these can go anytime!
