hi
is there any difference between boost controller and bleed valve??

Which one would be the best to use, any comments why?

i am not sure that i will use solenoid, or i should use it? why you need to have option to run 2 different boosts?

may be some one have diagram how to fit them as well ? :)

They are all basically bleed valves. To call them a boost controller....Well, a wastegate actuator is a boost controller too.

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

i found hks evc 3 electronic boost controller is it will be better than manual?

any advantages and disadvantages? :)

Depends what you need or are trying to achieve.

On many applications a simple bleed valve does a very good job. And I'd suspect for most Mini applications...they work perfectly.

An electronic boost controller can be adjusted easily in-car...which is handy. And most generally can offer faster spool up, and better boost control targets.

But again....whether you need faster spool on a fwd car with little traction is debatable.
And it will also depend on how hard/soft the WG is to start with, and how much over this the EBC is actually targetting.

if its very little, then its probably a waste of money.
