oil pipe problem

Ive got an auto meter oil pressure gauge and an oil pressure pipe from minispare's but they don't fit as different threads. Does anybody no what adaptor i need and where i could get one from. Cheers

Get down to a local hydraulics place if its not an off the shelf part they will more than likely be able to make you one. If they are a friendly bunch probably wont cost you more than a cupla quid, if that.

actually im going to jump in a steal abit of this post with a relatedquestion...my damn turbo oil feed leaks from the turbo end and to be fare i just want to repalce it with a braided hose or simliar... is there anywhere that sells a specific oil feed braided line or is it just a case of sorting one out myself..if so does anyone know what diameter the thread is ? so i know what size ends to get..thanks

both ends are 3/8 UNF. will be cheaper to get one made up. I think minispares etc are about £50

Bman i simply went to my local pipe place and had one made up for 26 sheets! Alot cheaper than most places.

i just cut the steel pipe above the gearbox, and got a little bit of braided hose made up ,with a compression fitting on the end, that the solid went into ,worked a treat .BUT that was with a GT17

thyats great we have a local hydraulic/pipe company so will pop and see what they say..having oil leak out of my car constantly is getting abit tiring haha

I would be asking them why there hose kit weighs about 10KG. It must do to justify that postage cost!

yeh the postage is pretty insane to be honest .. ive not had any luck finding a local place to sort me one yet and im not paying £55 that minisport is asking.
i have found a load of stuff on ebay thats originally intended to make brake lines but i think could work really well

mail them and tell them they are taking the piss and you are going to report them for exadgerated postage costs
