Need to get a new tool box for work, Im a bit tight so dont want to pay Mac or Snap On prices. just seen the Halfords roll cab at £100 instead of £150, any of you guys got one? Are they alright?
I seriously doubt it! |

I've got a Halfrauds top box which is still in good condition after a few years abuse. I have a Clarke roller cab just over a year old and I've managed to bust one of the draw runners... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

I bought these two from Halfords when they were on offer late last year, and they are very good quality.

Loads more space (but still not big enough ) than the one I had which is a similar size to the one you are looking at Paul. I have no complaints about the smaller cheaper roll cab other than it was too small, mine is still in use and must be getting on for 15 years + old

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Be warned that no matter how big a box you buy, it will soon feel too small.

My bro has one of the Halfords industrial bottom boxes. They are excellent quality for the money. I can't fault it On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

I rate my Halfords box. It didn't like travelling too much and the abuse it gets in the race truck but held out well for such a cheap box.
