I think injection is the way forward on all engines, purely from the ease of setting up,

many ECU's will pretty much map their own fuel map as you drive,

I'm sure you could use it with carbs but that's kind of like going to Raymond White's Restaurant and having just the bread basket & a glass of water.

Hi, if you are able to pick up a copy of the new Mini Magazine - will be in the shops circa Tues/Wed theres a very well presented article written by Jeff Ruggles all about the 7 port head, about 8 pages or so

In brief for £1275+vat you get a full head with no other work required to it, 36*31 Stainless race valves/bronze guides/new top caps etc,etc - If you opt for the "bundle" deal you get

Head as above.
SC bespoke ultimate throttle bodies
Stainless fuel rail
4 * new EV6 180cc injectors
SC Typhoon full ecu management - premapped + CAN dongle etc
SC loom, inc air temp sensor/crank sensor
SC trigger wheel kit
New coil
Coil bracket
SC bespoke plug leads

All for £2550 + vat. As a comparison one of our competitors is selling a management kit only - no head!! -for their 7 port for £2700, so you can see the value for money is exceptional even more so taking into account the quality of the componets you will have.

We have Weber manifolds being made also if you wish to go that route. We will make a few options available this route from bare manifolds on their own all the way up to manifolds/carbs/tps kit/loom/SC Storm ign ecu etc.

Thanks for the kind comments

Regards

If Carling made Mini engines
it would probably be like this one!

Am sure bike carbs would work out a good cheaper alternative for those not needing optimum fueling etc.

Rick

ps, sound a very cheap package though.
