Looking for a Miglia spec head (or bigger/better) for my 1430.

what do you want the head to do though? that is the question, im sure there are differnt ways to gain more power or for more torque :) Drives

Well i've got my power bands worked out at around 3500rpm -> 7000rpm and I want it to pull hard right up to the limiter (will be set about 7000 where the cam should start to tail off). Would it help if you saw a spec for the bottom end?

Talk to Benross or Turbo Phil, they will work you a head to your spec. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

You need bigger valves than a Mig Totally agree with Paul here, one of my mates runs a bonkers 1460 in his car, a few years back it dropped a guide, so whilst the big valve head was being rebuilt he ran a Miglia head (pucka item from one of the big name tuners as opposed to some of the fast road heads you see advertised a miglia heads at a fraction of the price) any way the up shoot was a loss in the region of 10 bananas. Minimum 37 x 30. 31 exhaust if you can afford to offset.

Miglias run a 36-31 valved head. For a real stonking big bore motor I'd be fitting a 37mm inlet with a 32mm offset ex. |

for a good miglia head you will not get chance from £1500 - £2500. Although as has been said the miglia heads are built to fixed rule book. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:
