its chuffin freezeing down here in south wales its gonna drop below 0 tonight, and i thought shit no anti freeze in my car, ran out cut my arm open on the fan ( trimmed nice sharp edges) couldnt undo bottom hose in the end i wripped it off with a screw driver and put some nice holes in the pipe |

would not have thought so , but i know arms bleed , when trying to get bottom hose off... Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

I've frozen my golf solid before. No head problems but it did kill my water pump and shred all the teeth of its cambelt. |

your core plugs should pop out if it frezzes. but if they dont then something else will have to give. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

My project frooze up due to lack of anti freeze just left it to defrost and seems to be ok. Iam a bit worried about the water pump though.
