It won't run well with out the megajolt, I'd just leave the dizzy in until you have everything. You could always drill and tap the manifold for a threaded take off. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
i tried putting soap on it , and heating it to brown , then slathered my new lube on it

Without the Megajolt, the EDIS will just run at a fixed advance (10 degrees IIRC) which is fine for testing and setting up the trigger wheel but not for driving.

Does it not have a vac advance take off? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this can be used if NA. Edited by theoneeyedlizard on 11th Apr, 2010. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

as said above you will need to drill and tap your manifold, pop down to your local car spares and get a small bleed nipple, if you have an ali manifold you should be able to just drill a hole then screw that in with a little loctite |

I think ill have a crack at drilling the manifold tomoro. Its the original cast iron one, the type that has the exhaust cast in one piece. But that got chopped off and binned ages ago.
