hi all after putting my new shinny turbo back on the car seen to have a bit more lag than be for so had a look at it to day and looked at dump valve as it was realy slow in opening and closeing
so took it bits to give it a clean as it seemed to be sticking and when got it in bits the o ring seal had some how got 2 big mmmm couldent get it back ,is this common and can you get bits for bailey dump valves is there a better seal than a rubber o ring
any help pls thanks nibble

Take a look at my earlier post with the same issue.

It's a problem with fuel contamination of the O seal which swells it and makes the piston lazy.

Managed to overcome the swelling of the original on mine by fitting a smaller diameter O ring with a lower core thickness and smearing the piston and bore in a 'little' Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline).

Has sorted mine.

I've seen piston and diaphragm DV repair kits on the Forge website so there must be something on the Bailey website I assume.

Go to your local hydraulics supplier and buy a "viton" o-ring of the correct size. This will be un affected by the fuel, job sorted.
