Sounds like the relay pack on top of the servo to me. Sprocket may be the best man to answer this. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

If everything is dead on the engine side of things, I would check there is 12v at the brown only wires on the large relay pack connector, from memory I think there are two fairly large brown only wires. If you dont have 12v there the Hypalon Fuse links have blown, and you need to replace them with some other type of fuse link.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

We has in intermitant fault like this on the mighty mini, a wiggle of wires on fusebox usually sorted it. We eventually replaced the box and the dodgy looking connectors and it was fine afterwards. |

Be sure that the fuse links are infact blown. if like you say, there is no 12v on the brown wires at the relay pack, chances are they are blown. By the way, the white anti back out shield on the large relay pack connector is removable. If its been arcing at that point, it will generate heat and probibly the reason why the solder has started to melt.
