its a 1275 with a stage 5 head
what would be the best one to get for performance?

Weber DCOE 45 on a 5 or 6 inch manifold. Best for performance but not so great for economy. The HIF 44 will be a good all-rounder.

that would work so would twin carb's, webber or bike carbs. are you running mappable ignition?

If you're on a budget you'll be able to pick up a HIF44 far cheaper secondhand than a Weber.

imo on a budget go for megajolt mappable ignition and a hiff or a twin carb setup you maybe a student but sell a kidney you will be fine :)

Mpg didn't change when I swaped to a weber, but it did find me 20+ lb/ft.

I have a weber with manifolt on ebay atm

stage 5 head to me says webber. a hif44 didnt flow well enough for my 1380, on a 1275 it may do.
