Hi everyone, new to the forum :)

I had a previous mini project before but had to sell due to work commitments (stuck a 1.8vvc in a mayfair) and never got to drive it :( or finish it. Ive now regretted it ever since and I am selling my car to buy another mini, but this time to stay a series and turbo it.

Im currently looking at minis but whats the best for the conversion? the 998 or the 1.3?

Welcome to TM. Have a quick search for the conversions. It all depends one what you want from the car. All out power will be better from a 1300 but a well sorted 998 can see quite a bit of power too.

IMHO go for the 1275 unless you need 998 for a particular class of motorsport or you are looking to build something "different".

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Thanks for the welcomes :), been reading around on here and I am thinking a 1275.
Not sure on which turbo though.
What sort of figures do you get from the T2 and T3 turbos on a 1275?
