Various bits and bobs I don’t need any more so like everyone seems to be doing at the moment I’m having abit of a clear out.

T3 turbo on metro manifold. This is actually a T3 based on the series 1 escort RS turbo, basically the same as the metro set up but has slightly larger exhaust housing (0.36 instead of 0.25) so actually breaths abit better at higher boost levels. The turbo was bought new/reconditioned from a turbo specialist about 3 years ago, although only covered around 3000 miles as the mini doesn’t get used much except for shows etc! Running perfectly when removed from my engine, no in/out play on shaft, just the usual slight up down play which is normal for these. Also comes with 8psi actuator from RS Turbo and a (turbo phil) modified/opened out exhaust elbow.
£150 - pick up much preferred as pretty heavy so would be expensive to post. PROVISIONALLY SOLD

Metro turbo cylinder head. Standard turbo head except combustion chambers have been opened out to 28cc. Uses original sodium filled exhaust valves. Sadly the valve guides seem rather warn and are allowing oil to leak down causing the engine to smoke when it was taken off so will need new valve guides etc.
£80 again would prefer pick due to weight but can post if buyer pays costs.

Metro turbo distributor. Good working order, also have new-ish coil that I wont need to go with it.
£50 posted.

Lancia integrale intercooler. This is a nice neat intercooler that I used for a couple of years on the mini. It fits nicely either above the distributor with holes in the bonnet or down in front of the starter motor, although it sticks out abit here so I couldn’t run a grill (both positions pictured below). Good condition with no leaks, painted matt black for extra efficiency *wink*
£25 posted (£20 collected)

7.5 gallon fuel tank with fuel return brazed into filler neck.
£10 collection only due to size.

Pair of reconditioned radius arms with hubs. Fully recon’d standard radius arms never fitted since done, complete with standard hubs with brand new bearings fitted. Also included are a pair of standard (spacered) drums in good condition painted up black.
£100 – collection only due to weight

Pair of Bridgestone RE720 175/50/R13 tyres. Still with plenty of tread left on them, only removed as went for super sticky Yoko’s last year.
£20 – collection only due to size. PROVISIONALLY SOLD

MK3 heater, working condition, doesn’t leak.
£10 collected.

Inertia starter motor. Only used for around 500 miles after buying new.
£10 can post for extra but may be expensive as quite heavy for its size. PROVISIONALLY SOLD

MK2/MK3 RH tail light. Bought second hand as a pair but this side not needed. Never tested but was told worked OK when bought and looks in OK condition.
£10 posted.

Also have a variety of mk1/mk2 bits that I got as part of a project including door locks, handles (sadly without key) plus an early heater (also sadly missing the control lever) but with the original metal windscreen air ducts which seem to be pretty rare.
These parts are no use to me so if anyone wants any of the bits in the pictures below they are welcome to come collect them.
EVERYTING IN THE PICTURE PROVISIONALLY SOLD

Also what I believe are mk1/mk2 headlight units, never tested them but if useful to anyone they’re welcome to them.
SOLD

Also have an old metro T3 in bits. Would need rebuilding as bearings shot. Contact me if anyone needs any spare bits from it.

Think thats it for now, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. All items located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Ian.

Interested in the tyres but need to organise collection.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Not really, wrong direction.

You urgently need them shifting or just the money for them?

I'm heading South on Friday morning and can probably collect & pay for the tyres then if you are around.

EDIT: Can collect other things as well if people are in need and Ian is OK with that.

I'd like the mk1 heater & metal vent things for my van project... but I'm miles away.

Would I be able to get a courier to collect?

Too many projects!

Ok I’ve had quite a few requests for some of the same bits so I’m going to have to do a first come first served system for people who have confirmed 100% they want the bits, apologies to anyone who has PM’d wanting bits.

Turbo provisionally sold to Quinton. Apologies Brett, he PM’d me saying he would have it last night.
Tyres and starter – wolfie was first to say he could definitely pick them up, apologies to john but neil was able to confirm he can come and get tyres as he is fairly local. Neil I will PM you.
Apologies jim, if neil doesn’t want the starter for any reason its yours.
Mk1/2 bits + heater – jpboost: tadge is also after the heater and is very local to me so would prefer to him let me have it as would save hastles with couriers etc as may be abit of a risk to you as I’ve never tested it so really unsure of its condition! tadge I will PM you.
Retroracer1380 you are welcome to the other bits if you still want them? I will reply to your PM shortly.
Apologies to cooper17 I would prefer not to post things abroard.
Matt you are welcome to the headlights – I will be in touch!lol (also have that servo put aside for you if you still want it).
Original post edited.
Cheers,
ian
