Could someone describe the difference between A and A+ as i have just got hold of a modified engine and am not sure on what type of Drop gears to get as i think the idler gear is of a difference size. What is a good price for secound hand drop gears.

easiest one is the dizzy. A+ has a hole with one tapped hole to the side. this holds a finger like clamp to hold the dizzy in.
if not then its A series *smiley*

think that makes sense!

But, it's possible to use A drop gears on a A+ engine and box, but NOT the other way around.
