Whats your view on the above Im considering getting a pair, But I cant picture them on the car. If you have fitted these, can you post some pictures with them lit up. I dont want to make it look chavy. They come in red, blue and white some of the websites claim they are also 25% more efficient too!

I wouldn't be surprised if there are few on TM that have these.

What you have to consider is that they are not legal, and that alone should make your mind up

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

these are not to my taste. for some reason my dad fitted a set of the angel eye spotlights a few years ago when they first came on the market. the angel eye elements kept breaking (which was probably a good thing in the long run!) - as he then changed them

Mine had them fitted when I bought it and I've not bothered to change them.

The ones Ive got have normal side lights in addition to the angel type. I just use the normal ones because the angels look wank.

I have them on, never had any issues with mots. Although i do prefer standard lights to the angle eyes its what i had when i built the car and have never got round to fitting a standard set.

Theyre great as far as brightness ect however they have a flat look to them, i prefer the old style ones as theyre much rounder.

Out of interest - Why are these Illegal when the BMWs are not?

This is because the mini aftermarket ones arent 'e' marked for road use. They dont have the correct beam pattern (points straight ahead instead of sweeping towards the pavement).

However, i have a set of these on my car and have never had any MOT problems. I'm using them with the uncovered sidelight bulbs rather than the chavy blue, red or green coloured covers and think they look good on the car.
