It might be selfish of me, but I think this is the first time I've ever had to wait for parts due to "an act of God." It's killing me. I'm waiting on hinges, I'm not sure about the double bush from joeybaby, and I don't know if it will affect the carbon fibre shipment from Carbon Weezel. *oh well*

I can get it by sea, but that might take a few months too... Grr. Oh well, I guess that's the price I have to pay when something 'cross the pond goes south.

just been reading up on this - we are supposed to by travelling tomorrow and i wanted to make sure i was going to get back;

apparently the principle reason for allowing air traffic is a new agreement on the tolerance of ash particles in the air. Apparently before, there was a zero tolerance so should explan a few things. The inof would also suggest the new tollerance is no where near the conditions we have experienced up till now (if you believe the BBC website that is!)

hopefully all back to normal

Just wait for the Climate Change Boffins to start raving about the reduction in atmospheric CO2 as a direct result of the lack of international air travel, Which, when it comes down to the fine detail means nothing considering the exra car, bus, train and ferry travel as a result. Then there is the CO2 emissions of the volcano itself. Has anyone mentioned CO2 in the news reports? not yet, but when its all over and there is no more ash for people to complain about, gauranteed, the CO2 will get its news time.
