hello frnds..im a huge mini fan and a hapy mini owner from Sri Lanka. im having a 1275GT (frm a clubman) . but i realy like 2 have a metro turbo unit as ma future engine..there z no metro turbo engined minis here in SL. soo, if im planing 2 import 1 from ur country, what will be d cost?? any ideas??? pls help me with ds... :)

Quite expensive. I looked into it and was quoted aus$1000 for shipping. I doubt itd be too much cheaper, and then theres taxes and what not to pay for. In boost we trust |

I would just get the bits to rebuild an existing 1275 to your own spec. It will work out cheaper than shipping a 20+ year old engine that has had the nuts thrashed of it all it's life. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Or if someone is getting a shipping container over. Maybe get together with a few other mini people and all chip in for a shipping container. Pack it full of parts/cars/whatever you like and ship it over. In boost we trust |
