am i being a fool? would i be right in saying my standard actuator will only do 3.5psi?

with a bleed valve your current actuator should let you run whatever boost you want. Is your boost gauge ok? try winding it up with a foot pump to make sure its not buggered.

i assume so as i got no power increase when i opend the bleed valve, it works fine in - pressure and then + when boost comes in.

Have you plumbed your bleed valve into the correct place? |

thinks so, ive got the 2 connections off my turbo, 1 blanked then the other to the bleed valve then to the actuator.

ive opened my bleed valve right up
close the valve to increase boost? with mine you have to tighten it to give you more boost, but be carefull, sometimes (depending on which valve you have) it can jump right up with just half a turn. revving it on the drive wont give you accurate boost figures (if any) you will need to drive it under some load see what that does :) Edited by Johnny on 25th Apr, 2010. |

mine works by opening it to let the actuator recive pressure, it this right? 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

if that doesn't work for you, once my air pipe to the filter collapsed i on itself and wouldn't get more than 3-4 psi..

all sorted now id just plumbed my bleed valve in wrong like a noob. thanks for the help 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |
