The biting point on my metro is right on the floor. I am 99% sure there is no air in the system. It has a verto clutch, with the verto clutch system and the hydraulic damper. Both the cylinders are old but the damper and braided hose is new.

I had a similar problem, it was my slave cylinder that was knackered. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Check out the length of the slave cyl. pushrod,you can lengthen this.Also look for wear in the mechanical bits -clevis pins at clutch master cyl.etc.The Midget suffered from this. 'Where does the engine go?' |
