So i finally got my green ticket today, i went to tax it online and realised i needed the V5. I sent it to the DVLA in february to make them aware of my engine change, and the answer i got was it had just been put on his desk today and was going to be processed with no guarantee it would be here before friday.
They wont give the ref number over the phone
I wish i just kept it as a 998, i had it back within a week for a colour change!
I better have a disc by riv run or there will be hell up

Have you SORN's the car off the road? I've just taxed a "new-to-me" (10-yr-old) car using the SORN reminder with my insurance and MOT certificates; you don't have to have the V5c in every case.

If your Mini has been SORN'd though it migh be different, you may need your V5c?

Cheers brett taxed today, if you dont have a V5 or sorn you can take the V5c2 little green slip to your "local" dvla office and fill out a form to get your tax.
