Should the 2 engine oil breathers be free to air or should they have a filter or even a 1 way valve fitted. |

Just vent them to air, using the small K+N or Pipercross type breathers. This is better that routing it back into the inlet side.

what were the one way valves used for phil? my mate connected up his breathers wrong and it started to push out the oil seals in the turbo causing it to smoke. what was the purpose of the valve if you can just went them to air

As a production car it would be unacceptable to have the breathers venting to air, as the fumes are supposed to be routed back into the inlet side, to be burnt up in the engine.

cheers! i will be venting mine to air then lol easier then routing the pipes all over the place, and unless they are silicone hoses i hate the look of the standard black ones.
