go for the smaller, and if you struggle to get it on , put the hose in a bowl of warm/hot water . but you should be able to get 25mm over the 26 fairly easy.
Got A GTM With A Honda In the Back, and huge Nitrous bottle where the passenger seat should be when racing!

I'm sure it will be fine. I used 48mm for all the 2" stuff. It can be a bit tight, but it's not coming off in a hurry.
