Hi all

Just looking into the coolant system for my Marcos. Im going to use Samco hoses, but just wanted to clarify the diameter I needed. The diameter of the water outlet is 26mm, but the closest offered are either 25mm, or 28mm... Will the 25mm be too tight to fit? If I go bigger, I can clamp the pipe up with some kind of jubilee clip - but is 28mm too big?

Agreed.

Never go too big- no matter what you do you will not successfully clamp a hose that is baggy down to size.

go for the smaller, and if you struggle to get it on , put the hose in a bowl of warm/hot water . but you should be able to get 25mm over the 26 fairly easy.

I'm sure it will be fine. I used 48mm for all the 2" stuff. It can be a bit tight, but it's not coming off in a hurry.
