Hi,

I'am running a worked a Throttle Body injected, Canems managed 1380cc with a VmaxScart Super Charger. I would now like to give my foot a rest and install an after market Idle Air Control Valve.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Depends entirely open the capabilities of the Canems ECU.

Can it drive a stepper motor or PWM valve?

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Thanks I've just been advised to use the GM unit which the Canems can operate.

How will an idle valve stop your foot getting tired ?

Won't have to keep blipping the throttle when the engine is idling :)

Why not either adjust the idle ignition advance, or adjust the throttle stop?

Get the problem fixed so that it will idle then. It must either have a bad fault or be very badly tuned if it wont idle on its own.
