Nic - would you believe they are going ot remake these as new cars very soon!! - the repo could be yours for 200K If Carling made Mini engines

I must be getting old - I remember these in service! EFA Of course it wasn't paddles on the Stooly - they had props. yes this car is a "real" one that is owned by Alvis and was used to develop the tooling to make the repo cars, with any new car going through small volume type approval it needs to pass emissions regs, hence needs FI and cats. The base engine is being re-cast as was in 1937 but with different crank/rods pistons to give circa 10:1 comp over the 1930's 5:1. Its a bonkers project but good to be part of.

Excellent! As payment you should ask them to cast some custom a-series blocks for you If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
