Hi there!

I really need help with buying (not sure about right name of part) screw which goes between oil pressure adaptor and oil pressure switch!

You can see this screw on pic :

It is from mini metro turbo engine.

I spend all day looking for it in all local garages and shops and no one have it and knows where to get it :(

Maybe anyone have it? or any solution to this?

This is my daily car so I need it as soon as possible :(

Nothing special!

It's a banjo bolt but not a normal one (because of the extra thread in the head of the bolt and the oversize head) - typical of Leyland to make things difficult.

There are other ways of connecting the turbo oil feed and the pressure switch (or gauge) at the front of the block, ie, Avobar sell a kit or just the fittings for the more modern braided oil feed pipe but I assume yours is the original metal one ???

TBH I'd put a (better) photo in the wanted section as someone who has changed to the more modern fittings may have a second hand one left over from an original Metro Turbo setup.

What's wrong with it anyway ???

you could drill and tap a standard bolt from the oil filter head to gallery pipe

Anything you can do to get rid of the factory steel oil feed...is a wise investment.

The braided hoses have a "plastic" internal liner so although the outside is all stainless, they must not touch (or be too close to) any of the hot parts of the turbo or manifold.

But the ones specifically made for the A series (Metro setup) are long enough to be able to swing them in a loop in front of the turbo (engine side) keeping them well clear. If you get one made at a local hydraulic place just make sure it's long enough to do the same.

Would a brake banjo bolt work? they are the same thread, although the head is smaller.
