The item is called a Banjo bolt . I would try one of the minishops who sell 2nd parts |

It's a banjo bolt but not a normal one (because of the extra thread in the head of the bolt and the oversize head) - typical of Leyland to make things difficult.

you could drill and tap a standard bolt from the oil filter head to gallery pipe On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Anything you can do to get rid of the factory steel oil feed...is a wise investment.

get a braided hose made up and T into the oil pressure switch hole on the front of the block. worked well on our van, all be it briefly... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

what about turbo? is it will be ok there? yea i should look for something better :) The braided hoses have a "plastic" internal liner so although the outside is all stainless, they must not touch (or be too close to) any of the hot parts of the turbo or manifold. But the ones specifically made for the A series (Metro setup) are long enough to be able to swing them in a loop in front of the turbo (engine side) keeping them well clear. If you get one made at a local hydraulic place just make sure it's long enough to do the same. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
