I am having a pig of a time trying to get my brakes properly bled. I am running 4 pots with a Cooper servo unit. This is a front/rear split system with a pressure reducer valve in the rear section. The pedal pumps up ok and holds firm, but is very spongey if not pumped. Anyone else had similar problems??*tired*

Always an arse of a job.

If it pumps up then holds steady then it's just air in the system.

I generally find it takes longer than you think to get all the air out of the rears, so bleed them some more.

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry.
