So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

So is it baffled internally ? Is there a drain ?

Why only one inlet ?

Isnt there any proper breather for the vent ?

I think you would have to 'T' all your breathers together to run them into the one inlet, and the oil will drop to the bottom and the air will flow out the out-let then run it to your inlet/carb/exhaust or wherever its going. Or i bet you could fit a breather filter instead, but i believe that is actually illegal!

A friend of mine bought one like that. It's bloody heavy and there are no mounting flanges. He bought another one...

you took the words right out of my mouth,

i use cycling water bottles, just bung the breather pipe into the side near the top , sits in its own bracket so easy to empty should it need it,

The thing is, that in Norway the plastic bottle trick isn't legal.

I've got this, and that is great:

A friend has one too. It had no internal oil/air separator. It was just an open bottle.

Any oil that got spewed in, went straight out the poorly vented cap.

Unless they have fixed the lack of design ?

product of this evenings work...

The bottle is a battered old one with a very small hole in the bottom just leaks a tiny bit off water, if it leaks a lot think i will fork out 4 a new one. Its only 600ml i think, not sure how big it should be? just need to make a take off from the rocker cover.
