Fastest A Series Mini in the World

leeds/wakefield.

i'm after one of those compact type water movers, the type found on renaults and the likes, just popped inot my local breakers and nothing doing , and just cannot bring myself to paY £70 for one,

what i did notice on my scapyard visit is that citroen C5 s have an electric pump that looks like its for the heater, looks big enough for an engine cooling setup but a little bulky for what i want.

W124 E class mercs use an electric 'auxilliary' pump for the heater. If I remember right it looks a bit like the KAD ones but I'm not sure of flow figures. Must be a few of them in scrap yards now. Mine certainly is. LOL.

posted this some time ago at 16v, check the part numbers of the bosch pumps, there are many different ones out thre, amgs have the high capacity ones but they tend to go in a couple of years…

the "strongest" bosch pump is at the bottom (bosch link), 1200l 0.3 bar/h, johnsson c30 pumps about 1600l/h at 0.3 bar, and is a popular upgrade when fitting bigger charge coolers to AMGs etc, 5.000 hour live cycle to

Near Lincoln

seat ibiza cupras and leon cupras/r's also have them, i'm guessing most 1.8t engines do?

£70 is a bit bloody steep. But why the increase I do not know.?

Will keep an eye out for another.

Here's a graph of the 034 pump in the ebay auction above showing current draw

Interesting graph,

the current curve varies from approx 700mA to 1.2A at 13v

this equates to a power consumption of between 9 and 16 watts,

1hp is about 750 watts
