To re insure the metro it is going to cost £1400 mods declared and fully comp. I paid £1600 the year before but can't afford to pay that much again. This is with HIC, is there any other companys which insure young drivers? or any ways around it? |

IIRC Lancaster were willing to offer classic car insurance to under 21s. Worth a try. |

If HIC say £1400 then maybe that's what it costs, that's a 15% saving on last year, not so bad.

Insurance has gone up with all the global financial problems of the last 12-18 months.

Have you tried a classic policy? Or give flux a go and as StagMag says, add a parent on as a named driver... that can knock tons off. |

as above . best way i found was to limit the mileage seem to bring the cost right down. i went with hic all fully declared with all the gubbins and that was £430 2012 Avon class c 2nd place 13.8 @98mph |

Bored one day, asked how much my Metro was. Limited milage was cheaper than my Transit!
