i seem to remember a thread where the 2 heads was compared pro/cons, any one point me in the right direction i cant find it

The head itself could be the same...K100 is often assumed to be a 8 V head, but my head for example is a K100RS 4v head, which is a 16Valver.

i thought it was k100 is 8v and 11 is 16v the k100rs is still a 8v head not 16 acording to egay and bmw forums Drives

I have been right all the time. I state in my first post that there is both a 8V and a 16V K100 |

right i see what the pics are pointing out now, mine is same as the top pic, but definitely is 8v so that makes it a k100 8v... Yes i moved to the darkside |

It cannot be 8v if all the cam cover bolts are oposite each other, like the top pic.
