Right - today i have been working on my car all day - one of the last jobs was to put in fresh hydralic fluid and bleed the system (a simple enough job i thought.)

The back bled fine as per usal. The front is my new recon 4 pots, so i started on the drivers side caliper. All 3 nips bled - air bubbles came out and fresh fluids were flowing.

So i moved onto the passenger side.

Only 2 of the 3 nips bleeds - so obviously im left with air in the system and i need to pump the brakes 3 times before it gets hard.

The calipers are recond from motorserve - all i can think is they are somehow blocked internally by accident??

You can take the nipple right out and notihing absolutly nothing comes out....

Any ideas before i try and get a replacement?

Cheers Dan

Brakes are sorted - I dont know what was up with the last caliper.

I do seem to have a lot of travel tho on my brake pedal, is this normal for 4-pots?

You usually will get more travel as your shifting more fluid. i would alos look into some kind of bias valve front / rear, as the balance will have changed with the new calipers.... (if you havent already that is.)

just me 2p's worth....
