What are you running it NA for the MOT? Either the fuelling is right or wrong, The turbo won't cause any emission problems. But it won't have any effect on the engine (assuming the fuelling is ok).
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

The emissions test is done at either tick over or low down the rev range, I can't remember which but either way the turbo isn't boosting so won't effect the price of fish.
