Hi. Rebuilding my engine. Going to have the head ported and the chambers opened up. Will i see any real significant gains by puting a better cam in and if so any good ones to recomend. Minispeed is down the road from me and they have a "phase 2" in stock. My gearbox is standard and in very good condition. Any ideas what kind of bhp they will take? Also i have an oil cooler but have seen loads of turbo'd minis not running with them so is it needed. Edited by stace on 10th May, 2010. |

Also i have an oil cooler but have seen loads of turbo'd minis not running with them so is it needed. cam = definately see gains its the torque that kills a box, 100ftlbs will do a box over in no time if you drive like a twat, if you search its been done to death ( the question and the boxes) if your oil overheats put an oil cooler on it, if it doesnt overheat you dont need one Yes i moved to the darkside |
