I recently went to buy some plugs, but they didn't have exactly what I wanted, NGK BPR7ES, only BCPR7ES. I had no idea what the 'C'meant, but assumed that as the rest was the same they'd be ok. I guessd that it was likely the socket size.

After a bit of research I fould this, which confirmed my guess. thought that it might be useful to others:
