I've done a bit of reading on this, but just want to make sure.

I have a turbo carb, but it's missing its dashpot.

Can I fit one from a N/A hif44, as from what I understand the seals required for boost are in the main body of the carb.

The only thing I can't work out is why there was that clip on the top of turbo carbs holding in the piston damper

to stop the dashpot damper being blown out, in reality i doubt that would happen
i have an n/a carb all be it with a turbo dashpot because my turbo carb was cracked in the fuel bowl

ok, so I can run the turbo body and just put the n/a dashpot on yes?
