Looking for a 1293 block for my mini project.

is an MPI block of any use to you mate? I have a 1293 MPI block that's been run up but not driven/run in at all, bored to 1293, fitted with new cam bearings and a centre main strap

I'm going down the turbo route using a carb, would that be okay still even if its a mpi block?

Will you be using a dizzy or mapable ignition? The MPI block doesn't have a dizzy hole. I assume it doesn't have a mechanical fuel pump hole either. And it has a cam sensor hole. I'm sure someone else can point out the rest of the differences

I'll be using a dizzy. electric fuel pump at the rear with a larger fuel tank.

Well, I was offered £80 for my last MPI block, which was 100% standard.

Seeing as this one is bored, has new cam bearings, and a centre main strap, I think £100 would be a fair price....
